Hello,
I'm Nora, a storyteller at heart currently studying at The Game Assembly. I hold a degree in game design and have earned two awards for narrative design in games. I love narrative-driven games and have a soft spot for innovative ways to convey stories and feelings.
Innovation drives my passion for making games, and I aim to incorporate it into every project I work on. I have always been naturally analytical and organized in my approach, with an out of the box mindset. I enjoy the challenge of problem solving, and I am not afraid to take the time to make sure that something is up to par.
I am greatly inspired by developers who consistently push the boundaries of what games can achieve. Inspired by their works, fellow level designer Thérèse Lundqvist and I wrote about how breaking the fourth wall can enhance immersion in our bachelor thesis titled:
Three things about me :)
-
My favorite game is Dragon Age 2 for it's narrative excellence. Ironically, it is known for having poor level design.
-
Last year, I was awarded "Game of the Year," "Best Narrative," and "Best Diversity Effort" at the Swedish Game Awards 2024 for the game Traum alongside the wonderful team Morbid Games.
-
The first game I ever designed was for my pet rat, Plopp. It was an obstacle course made out of lined-up VHS tapes. (I was nine).

I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the agreement between the Games Industry and The Game Assembly, neither student nor
company may be in contact with one another regarding internships before April 23rd. Any internship offers can be made on May 5th, at the earliest.
